Sunny St. George!

We are finally in St. George and we have been shopping all day! You think I am exagerating, we left the hotel this morning at 9:00 and we got back to the hotel at 7:30. And this was only round one! Our feet are exhausted and so are out wallets, but hey thats what the plastic is for. We got some killer deals and had to much fun doing our masks and getting in the hot tub. True it was a little chilly this morning, when the sun came out, no worries it was beautiful. Don't worry we took pictures of all of us in the masks but I don't have a way to post the pictures yet so they are still in the works. Just wanted to make you all jealous of us being in wonderful St. George, oh by the way its suppose to be 75 tomorrow in case you all were wondering!

No More Chief Crawlingrock!

Yes, that's right! We have sold our beloved Cheif Crawlingrock. Oh it was a sad day, just kidding! I am so happy to see the pile gone and not have to worry about it. And yes some poor guy really wanted it so we got more out of it than we bought it for. But don't you worry all the jeep lovers out there, we have since bought a 1993 jeep, its red and runs great. We can't wait to take it down to Moab and break her in. Homer has big plans for our tax return we'll just say that much! And no we will not be taking her down to Jeep Safari with us. I don't trust it that much yet! So Homer and I are trying to think of a new name for our blog, so any good suggestions are welcome. And sorry its been so long, between this and face book and my daughter being so sick its been hard to keep up!

Remind me why we have trials again!

So this post is just me venting so if you don't want to hear it then stop reading now! This past weekend I found out that the reason of why my back hurts all the time, I have good ole kidney stones. I am going to see a urologist next week. And then if that wasn't enough I am having some baby blues. And all the moms know exactly what I am talking about. And then the night before last I was running down the stairs and my leg popped and turns out I tore some ligaments in my knee and have to see a orthopedic surgeon tomorrow. Please remind me why when things seem to go wrong everything possible goes wrong at the same time. So I am sorry if it sounds like I am whinning I just really needed to vent, and couldn't get the words out right. If this post makes no sense at all sorry I just needed to vent my feelings. Thanks for listening!

Pop goes the poop!

Kennedy has a hard time going to the bathroom by herself so yes I was moving her legs up and down and side to side trying to help her go. BIG mistake as the picture shows. Yes that is indeed poop. It got all over the couch and stained my brand new shirt. As soon as she squirted all over me Homer was on the floor laughing. I don't remember a time that I have seen him laugh so hard. HA HA HA! Thats cause you weren't at the end of the dangerous "projectile poop!" All who have kids know exactly what I am talking about. I have never seen a baby poop so much and shoot so far! Any takers to change her next diaper come on over! And yes something so gross came out of such a cute little girl like her! The second picture was seconds before she fell off the couch. But that is an entirely different post!

Things to be thankful for!!

Tis the season to think about all the things that we are truly greatful for. Lately Kennedy has been throwing up quite a lot so we took her in for some test to rule out Pyloric Stenosis, (where the stomach has a blockage and cannot digest food!) Thank goodness she does not have it. But we have found at that her intestines are positioned wrong and it could possibly need surgery to correct. But as of now she does not need surgery, so needless to say that is my number one thing to be thankful for this holiday season. I am thankful for my family and all my friends. They mean so much to me and have been such a wonderful support system. Through all the hard times in my life and the good times. My little Jerick has become quite curious about how to spell every thing. In the car he will ask how to spell whatever we pass. It gets so annoying but I am thankful for his ability to see and be a healthy little boy! My husband is a wonderful provider and an excellent dad. Even in the middle of the night he will get up with Jerick if he needs a book read to him. I love him with all my heart.

Our Wonderful Day!

Its been awhile since there was a post and Homer claims he is too busy so I thought I would just update so people won't stress any more. We got sealed in the Salt Lake City Temple at noon on the 16th of October. When we got to the temple I was getting a little shaky and Homer was trying not to show his nerves, (not doing that good of a job). Jerick was ready to go and play in the nursery. When we took him to the room he didn't even want us to say goodbye to him. When we got into the sealing room it was beautiful! To see all the family and friends that support us. Jerick came in a little later and didn't know what to think about everyone crying and staring at him. He came over to us at the alter and in true Jerick fashion he started to climb up onto the alter. It was so cute and gave everyone a nice little laugh. He was so adorable all dressed in white! I don't think Homer or I have ever cried so hard. We left the temple and went outside to take pictures. I don't think it could have been a more beautiful day. We decided to walk to Olive Garden for lunch after and thats when all the fun started. I started to feel a little funny as we were waiting to go into the resturant. I didn't think to much of it until we got our food and the stomach pains starting coming and going. I tried to walk outside with Maddie, (No doubt I traumatized Maddie!) While we were eating I leaned over to Homer and said I think we need to go. Homer asked for a box and I tore him a new one. Hello I am in horrible pain and he is worried about his food! Only a man!! Thank goodness Dad and Mom had drove the jeep down to the resturant. We left and poor dad didn't know exactly what to do with a women crying in the backseat. And poor Jerick was trying to comfort me by talking, and well if you have ever been in labor you just need quite! I decided I couldn't wait until American Fork to go to the hospital. So we stopped at the Murray hospital. They put me on the monitors for an hour and said well we can admit you or you can try to make it to home to be with your own doctor. We decided to try and make it to American Fork. But let me back up a little. If you know my dad you know how patient of a man he is, so mom took dad and Jerick home. Well they released us and mom was still not back. I was going crazy she couldn't get there fast enough. When mom finally got there I had found that rocking back and forth on my knees was the only thing helping. When we left Murray it was rush hour. We made it to American Fork Hospital by 6:30 and Kennedy was born at 9:51 that night. She was born on our anniversary and the day that we were sealed. I guess she just wanted to join in the day activities.

So I have been tagged and must obey the rules.

Link to the person who tagged me.
http://egoandstuff.blogspot.com/

Six things most people don't know about me.
